| The area around the Chrismas
Tree Cluster in the constellation
Monoceros. The Christmas Tree Cluster
is a group of stars approximately 2400
light-years distant. In this same region
of space is some nebulosity referred to
as the Cone Nebula due to its
characteristic shape. A small amount of
the nebulosity is visible in this image,
but the vast majority of the nebula does
not appear here. An excellent image of

refractor Fuji ISO 800 color negative
film.
